St. Colman’s College, Fermoy, Co. Cork was designed by John Pine Hurley and completed in 1856.
FMP have been appointed as conservation architects to provide specialist advice on the repair and refurbishment of this monumental structure. Currently in a serious state of disrepair, the building requires urgent intervention, particularly to the roof and external façades.
Our process begins with a detailed analysis of the building fabric to identify the causes of deterioration. This is followed by targeted research and collaboration with conservation specialists to develop appropriate and sensitive repair strategies.
We will be sharing regular updates on the progress of this exciting conservation project across our website and social media platforms, so stay tuned.
