The client was facing a very challenging build when FMP Architects we brought in as Architects and Project Managers. Limited information on how to complete the construction for the build, an unknown construction cost, an expiring planning permission and even protests from local residents meant a race against time to get the design and building completed.

On a challenging site above the popular Pol Gorm swimming spot on the Coast Road between Myrtleville and Fountainstown, we worked with an excellent team including Structural Engineers, Quantity Surveyors, Mechanical & Electrical Engineers as well as a top quality contractor and a client who put their faith in us to deliver a truly outstanding building.

Main Contractor:
Cetti Ltd.
Structural Engineer:
DOSA
M&E Engineer:
John Kelleher & Associates
Quantity Surveyor:
Michael Barrett Partnership

“Driftwood was indeed a challenge for all involved; that said, the finished building says it all.

A joy to live in and an iconic house on the Coast Road, appreciate by residents and passers-by.

We thank you and your team for being part of the project success.”

– Ian Lynch
