Why we need your data

To provide you with architectural services, we need to know your personal data. We do not collect any personal data from you which we do not need to provide our services to you.
We also hold information in our accounts system necessary to process your account.
What we need

We collect personal data which includes names, addresses, email addresses, telephone numbers, location data, photographs of your property. We also hold information in our Accounts systems to comply with current Irish Tax Legislation.

What we do with your data

The personal data we collect is processed by us for the purpose of providing Architectural services to you.
Below are some of the ways in which we may process your data;

  • In emails, letters and general correspondence
  • In the project description
  • On drawings (physical and PDF/other digital media)
  • On Ordinance Survey Maps
  • In photographs

Due to the nature of our services, we are regularly required to share some of your personal data with third parties who will provide additional consultation and/or construction related services. Data is also shared with the local authorities and the public via planning applications and the advertisement in local newspapers of same, Fire Safety Certificate applications, Disability Access Certificate applications, Commencement Notice applications. This data is published online by the local authorities.

How long we keep your data for

Personal information essential to processing financial accounts for tax purposes will be retained for 6 years, after any transactions, acts or operations have been completed. All other information will be retained for a period of 7-12 years dependent on relevant contracts.

What are your rights?

Under the GDPR, as a data provider, your rights are:

  • The right to obtain details about how your data is processed by an organisation or business
  • The right to obtain copies of personal data that an organisation holds on you
  • The right to have incorrect or incomplete data corrected.
  • The right to have your data erased by an organisation, where, for example, the organisation has no legitimate reason for retaining the data
  • The right to obtain your data from an organisation and to have that data transmitted to another organisation
  • The right to object to the processing of your data by an organisation
  • The right to not to be subject to automated decision making, including profiling
