Milestone: Universal Access Works Commence at South Parish Community Centre

We are pleased to announce the commencement of a new phase of works at South Parish Community Centre, Sawmill Street, Cork.

The project focuses on the implementation of universal access measures within this substantial late nineteenth/early twentieth-century building, improving accessibility while respecting and preserving its historic character. The works will enhance the building’s usability for all visitors, creating a more inclusive, welcoming, and functional environment.

This milestone marks an important step in delivering sensitive interventions that balance accessibility, conservation, and the continued use of this valued community facility. We look forward to progressing the project.
